Gangtok to Lachung – Into the Wilderness
Early morning drive to Lachung in North Sikkim. En-route, visit the Naga Waterfalls, Seven Sisters Falls, and the confluence of Lachen and Lachung rivers at Chungthang. Reach Lachung by evening. Check-in at your mountain lodge. Overnight stay in Lachung.
Yumthang Valley & Zero Point Exploration
Drive to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft), known as the Valley of Flowers. Visit the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary and the hot springs. Proceed further to Zero Point (Yumesamdong) for a unique experience amidst permanent snow (optional). Return to Lachung. Overnight stay in Lachung.
Lachung to Gangtok – The Return Descent
Enjoy the mountain views one last time before driving back to Gangtok. Stop at the local viewpoints for photos. Arrive in Gangtok by evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion
Proceed for a half-day trip to the sacred Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and the Baba Mandir war memorial. Return to Gangtok. Afternoon free for local shopping for Sikkimese handicrafts and tea. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Departure from Gangtok
