Arrival in Rishikesh – The Basecamp
Reception at Rishikesh. Check into your adventure stay. Evening visit to the Lakshman Jhula and experience the Ganga Aarti. Briefing sessions with your trek leader regarding the high-altitude conditions. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Rishikesh to Chopta – Mini Switzerland
A long drive through the mountain curves via Devprayag (confluence of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi). Reach Chopta by late evening. Check into your swiss tents amidst the meadows. Enjoy a starry night and campfire. Overnight stay in Chopta.
The Summit: Tungnath & Chandrashila Peak
Start your trek early morning to Tungnath Temple (3,680m). After darshan, continue the steep 1.5 km climb to Chandrashila Peak (4,000m) for a 360-degree view of Himalayan giants like Nanda Devi and Trishul. Return to Chopta by evening. Overnight stay in Chopta.
Chopta to Auli via Joshimath
Drive to Joshimath. From here, take the famous Ropeway (India's longest) or drive to the Auli slopes. Check into your mountain cottage. Evening at leisure with mountain views. Overnight stay in Auli.
Auli Local Exploration – Skiing & Lake
Day dedicated to exploring Auli. Visit the artificial lake, Gorson Bugyal (3km trek), and try skiing (available in winters). The sunset over Nanda Devi from Auli is a sight you'll never forget. Overnight stay in Auli.
Auli to Rishikesh Return
Drive back to Rishikesh. Stop at Rudraprayag for photography. Evening free for local shopping or a cafe crawl in Rishikesh's Tapovan area. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Departure
Transfer to the Rishikesh/Haridwar station for your onward journey. Take back the energy of the mountains.
