Arrival in Guwahati & Drive to Bhalukpong

Reception at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. Drive towards Bhalukpong, the entry point to Arunachal Pradesh. Visit the orchid research center at Tipi. Check-in at your eco-resort by the Jia Bharali river. Overnight stay in Bhalukpong.

Bhalukpong to Dirang – Apple Orchards Village

Drive to Dirang. Visit the Kiwi and Apple orchards and the Hot Water Spring. Explore the Dirang Dzong (fortress) and the Kalachakra Monastery. Enjoy the peaceful valley views. Overnight stay in Dirang.

Dirang to Tawang – The High Pass Journey

Drive to Tawang (13,700 ft). Stop at the majestic Sela Pass and the Paradise Lake (Sela Lake). Visit the Jaswant Garh War Memorial on the way. Arrive in Tawang by evening. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Tawang Monastery & Bumla Pass Excursion

Visit the famous Tawang Monastery (the largest in India), Ani Gompa, and the Tawang War Memorial. Afternoon excursion to Bum La Pass (India-China border) and Madhuri Lake (Shonga-tser Lake). *Bumla visit requires a local permit and 4x4 vehicle. Overnight stay in Tawang.

Tawang to Bomdila – Buddhist Serenity

Drive down to Bomdila. Visit the Bomdila Monastery which offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges. Explore the local Tibetan market in the evening. Overnight stay in Bomdila.

Bomdila to Guwahati – The Return Drive

A long drive back to Guwahati. Stop at the local viewpoints for last-minute photos. Arrive in Guwahati and check into your hotel. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
